Hi and welcome to my blog! My name is Sandra Dykes. I am a 2nd grade teacher and currently taking on line courses through Walden University. I hope you enjoy my blog!
Sandra - you did a really nice job with this. It is the most simple explanation of plagiarism I can remember seeing. It is perfect as an introduction to a keynote expert on the topic. Thanks for sharing.
Great job integrating video and voice over print. It is so important to teach students how not to plagiarize. I start with my second grade students. I tell them what plagiarism is and how to put stories in their own words. I think the reason so many high school students plagiarized is because they did not understand what it was and how to avoid it. This video was well put together and interesting to watch.
You did a great job explaining what plagiarism really is. This is a topic that all of our students (and ourselves as students) must be aware of, regardless of age. Your video was very impressive! ~Jennifer
Sandra, this is a great topic that you treated wonderfully. I have to agree with Adam your presentation is easy to understand and could easily be used with high school students to help them understand. -- Carol
Great Job. You did an outstanding job on identifying the importance of plagiarism. Everyone needs to understand not to copy someone's else work without giving them credit for it. I especially liked how you transition your voice and video. Overall, Outstanding Job...
Very nice. I like that the video was made in a format where both younger and older students can grasp a better understanding of how important this concept is. Great job!
Nice job!!!!! I like the balance of graphics and video. I agree that it is very important for even our young students to understand plagiarism and its affects. -Belinda V
